Case Description
Count Gaetano Beuilaqua and his brother Count Francesco Beuilaqua sent several unknown assassins, who disguised themselves with false beards, to the house of Francesco Trauerso to kill Giovanni Battista. The assailants positioned some of their number to block the house's doorway while the rest forced their way in towards the staircase where they discharged multiple arquebus volleys. Giovanni Battista was unharmed, but his mother Madonna Rosa was seriously wounded and a servant of Tauerso was killed.
