Case #1870
Case Description
Antonio Frassoni was assaulted by three private retainers of Count Pompeo Sarego while crossing the Adige River. Using arquebuses and pistols they left him "so bitterly and severely scourged" that he was bedridden for over twenty days.
Motive
Frassoni previously leased a contract shop and bakery oven from Sarego, but departed from the property for his own commercial advantage and relocated his family. Sarego was looking to take vengeance.
