Case Description

Zorzi Ballarin and his gang went to the house of Girolamo the draper at night to rob him at gunpoint. After knocking on the door and immediately entering when it opened, there was a confrontation between them and the victim. One of the assailants placed an arquebus into the victim's chest and demanded 100 ducats from him or he would harm him. This was followed by offensive blasphemies. The other assailants restrained the victims servant so he could not intervene as he was armed with an arquebus and had a black mask. The incident turned violent and Girolamo was wounded twice. The attackers then fled as help arrived due to the commotion. They fired their arquebuses behind them as they fled.
