Case #4076
Case Description
Ser Zuane and Ser Andrea Basadonna sent a hired assassin to ambush Ser Vincenzo Querini as he was leaving his house to travel to the council. The assassin struck him above the left eye with his naked blade. A bystander named Agnolo Manara drew a weapon and tried to pursue the attacker but he was able to escape with the aid of the brothers and their allies, all armed heavily. They leaped from around the corner of a nearby barbershop and forced Manara back. The man leaped into the canal to avoid being wounded or killed as well.
