Case Description
Meneghetto Cavallaro, Count Milon San Bonifacio, Alfieri Bettini of Lendinara, Agnolo Formaggia, and others assaulted on horseback the carter Lorenzo Ceccon and a laborer and his stableboy son. They robbed them various goods and a mare belonging to the priest Gasparo Marchesini of Cerea which they stableboy was holding. The boy in particular was struck in the ribs by a blow. The stolen goods and mare were taken to the village of Carpi where the Count's sister Lady Teodora lived. He commonly used her house as a refuge.
