Case Description

Bastiano got home late at night and, I think, found Alessandro in his house; the first report is that he beat Lucia and wounded her as their daughter was in the bed with her, and a few pages later there is a report that Alessandro was found dead in the canal outside her house the next morning, shot and beaten in the head

Motive

jealousy -as Lucia puts it, Bastiano's mom has been telling everyone that she is sleeping with Alessandro the baker.
