Gio Alberto is patrolling with his brothers and friends, all armed with swords, and they see Bastiano in the street (they live on the same street), and they attack him and kill him in the middle of the street; they were waiting around for him to come out of hiding after beating him up beforehand

Motive

Bastiano and Gio Alberto had quarreled that morning and Bastiano had slapped his face
