Case Description

all were walking home from mass, two kilers behind victim, all armed with archibugi and other arms; the killers shot twice at Domenico and hit him in the spine, passing through. He died immediately and was given the sacrament of holy oil.

Motive

revenge for a beating of Giovanni's father; also a son of Battistino wanted to marry Gentile Polini, daughter of Franceschino, and Franceschino locked her in a monastery instead
