Case Description

Domenico and his boss' brother and a friend (Giovan Domenico, who reports this) go out from Bologna to see the Palio at Cento; the first night they are in an inn, Domenico meets up with another youth Lorenzo Sala who he is accustomed to gambling with, and goes with him and his friends; when he doesn't return the Monday morning his companions return to Bologna, stopping by Venezzato for the night, and the next morning they hear that someone was killed but no one can identify the body because his face is too smashed up; they ask how he is dressed and suspect it is Domenico; Giovan Domenico reports it to the court Wednesday morning
