Ercole was walking towards Bologna with an unknown companion, and when they arrived at the road called Sooto Casadi Bassi the unknown companion pushed him into the Reno, where he treaded water for an hour before dying. He did not give the name of the guy who pushed him to the two guys who came to pull him out
