Case Description

Francesco Barbofano was murdered in a brutal stabbing by six hired assassins armed with daggers.

Motive

A number of individuals were benefitting from abusing and extorting the inheritance and estate of the orphaned minor Giulio Sanfranchino. The victim came to the minor's aid and his good management threatened what these greedy opportunists had to gain by stealing and withholding the boy's inheritance.
