Case Description
Giacomo Sarasina was assassinated by arquebus shot on his way to Verona from the Villa of San Bovo. His corpse was found on the public road of the Villa of Palazzuolo, but it was bled dry indicating that it had been moved there after the killing which occurred somewhere else. The victim was on his way to meet G.B. Savaria in the city to conduct business.
Motive
An enmity existed between the victim and Vigo's father despite a formal peace between them. In addition, Savaria was allegedly in sexual relationships with the victim's sisters and he participated in the murder to facilitate their continuation.
