Case Description
While travelling to his home in the ContrĂ della Scala, Lelio Guerrieri was suddenly attacked from behind by two unknown assailants. The assassins stabbed him in the back with a sharp weapon and one reached for their sword to finish the job before being scared off by a witness, the Lord Marquis Corrado Malaspina, who began shouting at them to stop and raising the alarm.
