Case Description
Ser Zuane Moro and Ser Benetto Zorzi 'conceived hatred' against Bartolomeo Grizier due to a girl he had in his house, last Saturday at two hours after sunset waiting to ambush him and while the nobleman Ser Costantin di Garzoni had exited from the house of Pietro Mattiazzo (neighboring that of the aforesaid Grizier) and mounted into a boat, they believing that it was the aforesaid Grizier, mounted into another boat, and uttering words expressive of their bad intent, and accompanied by bravi, with some of them rowing; they chased swiftly and with intent the boat of the aforesaid Garzoni up to his dock and one of them pressed a naked weapon to his waist; Garzoni identified himself and they recognizing that they had taken him in error, and that he was not the Grizier, they departed and then, around six hours of the night they all went to beat/knock at the house of said Grizier, for the same bad end of theirs.
