Mistrale hears that Alessandro has been wounded; Alessandro testifies that he was on his way to visit his sister Marta in Saragozza , and he was attacked by someone with a "spada d'una stochata"; he passed by someone and then 8 steps later heard someone come up behind him and draw a sword; as he turned he was stabbed in the side; the assailant ran off in the direction of San Felice
