Case Description

in rixa - the two got in a fight after Vespers because Paolo wanted to play bocci with them, and over whether Sig.r Paolo was lying to Giovanni or not, and they both shot at each other and Paolo hit Giovanni in the side. Then Paolo pulled out a pistol and shot Giovanni in the face. sounds like a duel.

Motive

This is an escalation from a game of bocci to a gun-duel, involving a face-slap, inverted honour and an insolent contadino.
