Marc'Antonio was going to his friend Salvadore's house when he passed Giovan Antonio, who was sitting on a staircase in the courtyard of the Bozzali; Marc'Antonio said "good evening," and put his hand on his archebus and said "keep away from me (venite alla larga)", Giovan Antonio took off running towards the Cantonata, and Marc'Antonio chased him and lost him, and heard nothing until he was shot in the shoulder

two months prior Marc'Antonio stabbed Giovan'Antonio and peace was never made - long-standing enmity
