Case Description

Marco was taking a cart and horse to Bologna loaded with firewood, and as he passed the Riva del Canale, where Giovan Battista had a house, he came out and without saying anything shot him in the stomach. He would have stabbed him to death, but M's brother cries help, at which point GB reloads the gun and comes after brother. Only when Marco's wife arrives, hearing "help", does GB run away.

Motive

odio - a few months before, Marco had offered GB work, and GB had said "no, I want to sleep tonight", and Marco gave the work to someone else and never spoke to GB again
