Case Description

Donino was sick for eight days, and went to the church to confess; in the morning, the priest went to his house to give Extreme Unction and Communion, but the door was locked and when they broke it down no one was there; they rang the bell and couldn't find him. Meanwhile in Arcoveggio, Giovan Antonio Minarelli found Donino in a Chiavica (a gutter) and said he should move, but Donino said he wouldn't/couldn't; Antonio got a friend and tried to convince him, and finally they went for the massaro. When they got back Donino was dead with a slit throat, and they believe it was his own work
