Angelino was leaving church after mass and encountered Marco, who promptly shot at Angelino without saying a word, but the gun didn't fire, so Marco grabbed his knife and stabbed him in the chest and Angelino died subito

Motive

Two months ago Marco raped Angelino's cousin Margherita, begining a state of enmity between them - I think Angelino also wanted to marry her
