Motive

Alessandro was in a mask heading towards piazza, and in the mercato in front of the bottega delli Bonfioli, he ran into the Maestro of the Casa Bianchetti, also in a mask. The maestro grabbed the backsides of two women of good quality, and Alessandro said "what kind of behaviour is that, and what interest have you!" and the maestro replied "it's the behaviour of a galant'huomo" and Alessandro responded "yours is the behaviour of a stray dog"; Exchange of insults
