Case Description

Benedetto and his brothers were hanging out in the fields when the Bonazzi showed up and fired three shots, one of which hit Benedetto in the gallone and one his brother Filippo in the leg

Motive

at a carnival dance a few days before, the Bardoni had been making fun of Zerbino Bonazzi (Marc'Antonio's brother), pulling his beard etc, and Marc'Antonio Bonazzi was foiled in his attempt to hit them with a bastone when one of them punched him in the nose; this is status/honour.
