Case Description
Lucia, the wife of tailor Michiel Bonesolo, was assaulted and disfigured by an assassin while working in her own shop. The assassin, accompanied by others, entered from the rear of the house into the shop claiming he wished to have a garment made. He then seized Lucia from behind, forced his knees onto her shoulders, and then proceeded to to use a bladed weapon to strike at her face delivering nine wounds. The wounds disfigured and deformed her face and placed her life in jeopardy.
Motive
Lucia believed that the assailants were hired or ordered by the nephwe of Count Chiodo because she had made public romantic advances he made on her.
