Case #4046

Threatened Insult

Case Description

Ser Zuan Bragadin, on the orders of Captain Zuan Battista Dotto, threatened and insulted Doctor RIccardo Trevisan in the Palazzo di Padua. This was an attempt to coerce the victim into renouncing his executorship of the will of Dotto's father. Bragadin offended Trevisan with "disgraceful insults" and threatened to assault both with words and physical gestures to widespread scandal.

Motive

Zuan Battista Dotto wished for Dr. Trevisan to renounce his executorship over the will of the "late Dotto" (likely the former's father). He also was unhappy that Trevisan would be defending a lawsuit brought against the state as part of his role.
