Case Description
A compagnezza named Maria Bressana took offense to the boatman Alessandro de Borto asking for the payment she owed him. This led to an argument and Bressana delivering threats to have her lover, Ser Zuan Capello, attack him. Making good on this threat, the following Saturday Capello boarded the gondola of Alessandro at his Traghetto, threw his cloak to the ground and drew an unspecified weapon. He then tried to stab Alessandro who only escaped by jumping into the water to flee while pleading for his life.
